all seem fairly consistent in the taste that each image represents

it seems as though these covers are very beautiful but none seem to represent the historical and cultural background of where the subject matter came from.  perhaps they like the idea of setting this scene to show that the magazine have consideration of such things but when it comes down to it, they want something beautiful, trendy and reflective of the style of film and themselves.
